More about Indian ethos

Even if the disputed theory of Aryan infiltration into India were accepted, it must still be remembered that the Vedas, Upanishads, the Smiritis, the Puranas, and so on, blossomed only on Indian soil and were not brought over from supposed original homes of the Aryans. So, although one might or might not agree that there is no one Indian culture, it is more important to understand and accept that there is indeed one Indian ethos deeply rooted in the Indian psyche.
